Barkwave stores the following on your device so the app can function: your dog's profile (name, breed, date of birth, photo), health notes, weight history, vaccinations and medications, walks (time, duration, and route if you allow location), feeding logs, clicker and training sessions, and sound reactions.
All of this is stored locally on your device. Barkwave does not upload your data to any server, does not use cloud storage, and does not sync between devices. If you delete the app, the data is removed with it, so consider exporting anything you want to keep.
Each permission is requested only when the related feature is used, and the app works without granting them.
None. Barkwave contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking SDKs, and no third-party services. No data is shared with anyone.
When you export a health log as a PDF, that file is created on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there — email, Messages, Files — is entirely your choice. Barkwave itself never transmits it.
Barkwave is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information from them.
If the app ever adds features that change how data is handled (for example, optional cloud sync to share a dog's profile with a partner), this policy will be updated and dated before that feature ships.

Barkwave is a personal companion app for dog owners. It lets you log health notes, track weight and walks, use training tools, and set reminders — all stored locally on your device. No account is required and no data leaves your phone.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Barkwave on Apple devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.
Barkwave offers a one-time Pro unlock via Apple's in-app purchase system. All transactions are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's own terms and conditions. All sales are final except where required by applicable law. For purchase-related issues, contact Apple Support directly.
Any information you enter into the app — your dog's profile, health notes, weight entries, photos, and other records — belongs to you. It is stored only on your device. Barkwave does not access, collect, or transmit this data.
You are responsible for keeping a backup of any data you want to preserve. Deleting the app removes all stored data permanently.
Barkwave is a logging and tracking tool, not a medical or veterinary service. Nothing in the app constitutes veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for any health concerns about your dog.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of bugs. Your use of the app is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Barkwave and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use — or inability to use — the app, including any loss of data. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Pro unlock, if any.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
